MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND HOW TO JOIN
You are eligible for membership at General Credit Union if you are an(a):
Becoming a member of General Credit Union is real simple. You simply need to complete a membership application and make an initial deposit of $25.00 into your regular savings account, or complete our membership application on line, print it, and mail it to us or drop it off at any of our locations, along with a minimum deposit of $25.00 for a savings account and an additional $25.00 minimum for checking. We want you to take advantage of all of our services at General Credit Union. We offer a wide variety of services. Our checking account may save you a lot of money. Many financial institutions charge $5.00 - $10.00 per month checking account service fees as well as per check charges. Compare our costs and save. Important Information About Procedures for Opening A New Account: What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. ATTENTION: BUSINESS OWNERS OR BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS: If you are a business owner and your company does not offer Credit Union benefits, call us and we'll show you how easy it is to offer this terrific employee benefit.
