My name is Lucas and I want to tell you a little bit about my special club called "Loot For Lucas" at General Credit Union. When you put money into this special savings account just for children up to 12 years old, you get to start saving money right away.

It's so easy to get started. All you have to do is have Mom or Dad bring you into the credit union or you could simply have them e-mail us now and we will send you an application. (Be sure that your parents include their name and address and any current account numbers).

New Member - $25.00 minimum deposit to open a Loot For Lucas Account. You must already have a  basic share savings account or open one with a minimum deposit of $25.00.  A "share" means that you own part of the credit union. Isn't that neat! 

When you open your new account, you receive a Loot For Lucas bank. Wait till you see it. Let Lucas help you save money.

Then every time you make a deposit of at least $10.00 into your Loot For Lucas account, you will receive a "Lucas dollar" and some other special surprises. When you have collected 15 "Lucas dollars" you can pick a prize out of the Loot For Lucas Treasure Chest.

Remember, the most important thing is to start saving money every week. Then when you want to buy something you can use the money you have saved in your Loot For Lucas savings account. Maybe you will want to save money for a special toy, a bicycle, or even college.

As a Loot For Lucas Club Member you will receive a birthday card, and be invited to special programs (like Lucas Kid's Day).
